How do I prevent adhesive dripping and glue backflow on the W101 glue gun?
Always rest the gun on its fold-out wire stand and never forcefully pull out a partially inserted glue stick.
Proper Stand Resting Angle
Always unfold the front wire stand and rest the tool tip-down at roughly 45 degrees. Laying the tool on its side allows molten glue to pool against the inlet seal and cause electrical shorting or backflow jams.
Never Pull Out Glue Sticks
Once inserted into the feed tube, never attempt to pull a glue stick backward. Pulling tears molten adhesive against the rubber sleeve, permanently ruining the advance mechanism. Instead, feed a new stick behind the old one.
