What should I do if the spray gun is clogged or produces no paint?

Check paint viscosity with the funnel, clear the nozzle orifice using the needle tool, and inspect the suction tube gasket.

Paint Viscosity Too High

Most water-based and latex paints must be thinned before spraying. Use the included viscosity measuring funnel: if the paint takes longer than 35-45 seconds to empty, dilute with clean water in 5% increments until the specified run-out time is achieved.

Clogged Nozzle Orifice

Use the fine cleaning needle provided with your Tilswall kit to pierce dried paint from the front of the fluid tip. Never use hard metal objects such as nails or wires that could scratch or deform the precision orifice.

Suction Tube Obstruction or Loose Seal

Ensure the suction tube is securely pushed into the pickup seat and the tube filter mesh is clear of sediment. If the container seal washer is deformed or missing, air will be drawn instead of paint.
