Why is the glue gun trigger not advancing the glue stick forward?
Wait for full 3-5 minute preheating and confirm the glue stick diameter matches the model specification (7 mm vs 11 mm).
Inadequate Preheating Time
If the heating chamber has not reached melting temperature (approx. 165°C - 190°C), pressing the trigger encounters rigid resistance and causes the feed claw to slip or strip the glue stick circumference. Allow a full 3-5 minutes of warm-up before squeezing.
Mismatched Stick Diameter
Verify your glue stick diameter. Tilswall W106 and W106S use 7 mm mini sticks, while standard workshop guns use 11 mm sticks. Oversized sticks jam the collar; undersized sticks cannot be gripped by the feed claw.
